Mount Gilead is located on the intersections of Ohio State Routes 95, 42, and 61. The village is approximately seven miles west of I-71 Exit 151 (State Route 95), fifteen miles east of Route 23 at the State Route 95 exit at Marion, Ohio, and approximately 40 miles north of Columbus, Ohio.
